The units of competency completed for this course meet the Training Requirements to register as a real estate salesperson in Queensland. Note that completion of the course does not automatically result in registration as a real estate salesperson in QLD. After completion of the course, you may apply to become a registered real estate salesperson in Queensland through the Office of Fair Trading. Note that you will be required to provide valid identification, evidence of having completed this training, undergo a Criminal History check, and address relevant fees. Note: This course meets the educational requirements for a real estate salesperson only in Queensland and does not necessarily reflect or address requirements in other states and territories.
How is the course delivered?
Delivery – Training is of a blended delivery method. CPP41419 & CPPPRE5010 Units of competency for the Registration Certificate, Upgrade to Full Licence, Full licence and Certificate IV in Real Estate Practice.
Registration Certificate – 12 units of competency are to be completed from the mandatory core units CPP41419 successful submission of assessment and completion of grading, a Statement of Attainment will be issued. The Statement of Attainment is then used by the student as evidence to the Office of Fair Trading to show that you have completed the study requirements to apply for a Real Estate Agent Licence.
Upgrade Certificate to Full Licence – 7 units of competency are to be completed from the mandatory core units CPP41419 successful submission of assessment and completion of grading, evidence of current CPPREP course coding of transcript to be supplied to show evidence of previous training carried out is under the current training.gov.au units of competency requirements. A Statement of Attainment will be issued. The Statement of Attainment is then used by the student as evidence to the Office of Fair Trading to show that you have completed the study requirements to apply for a Real Estate Agent Licence.
Full Licence – 19 units of competency are to be completed from the mandatory core units CPP41419 & CPPREP5010 upon successful submission of assessment and completion of grading, a Statement of Attainment will be issued. The Statement of Attainment is then used by the student as evidence to the Office of Fair Trading to show that you have completed the study requirements to apply for a Real Estate Agent Licence.
Certificate IV – 19 units of competency are successful completed from the mandatory core units (CPP41419 & CPPREP5010) upon successful submission of assessment and completion of grading, a Statement of Attainment will be issued. The Statement of Attainment is then used by the student as evidence to the Office of Fair Trading to show to that you have completed the study requirements to apply for a Real Estate Agent Licence. To achieve the Certificate IV, a workplace logbook is to be completed in the office/workplace with minimum required activities to be completed and logged under supervision.
Course Delivery
Students can choose from the following delivery methods subject to course dates and locations.
Face to Face 3 days intensive Fully guided by a Trainer and Assessor who holds extensive Industry knowledge and skill, in a classroom environment. The student cohort will complete some assessment in class with study activities to be completed outside of the classroom and with further material study and learning carried out.
Zoom – An Interactive delivery medium, 3 days intensive Fully guided by a Trainer and Assessor who holds extensive Industry knowledge and skill. The student cohort will complete some assessment in class with study activities to be completed outside of the zoom sessions and further material study and learning carried out.
Self-paced – The student will complete the learning and assessment at their pace and preferred hours from their own home/office. Access to a Trainer and Assessor who holds extensive Industry knowledge and skill is available at every step to assist.
Course duration
This course can be completed in your timeframe however is designed to take up to maximum 26 weeks (Including weekends and public holidays).
The delivery method is flexible as too the duration and can vary from student to student depending on their existing level of knowledge in the Real Estate Industry, their previous skills, and experience.

This course is designed to develop your expertise in property services education. Among others, you will learn to:
- Prepare for professional practice in real estate
- Establish marketing and communication profiles in real estate
- Appraise property for sale or lease
- Manage tenancy
- Access and interpret legislation in real estate
How is the course structured?
All learners will be assessed through:
- Observation during on-the-job or role play/simulation
- Questioning (may include self- assessment, verbal answers, questionnaires, activity modules or interview)
- Portfolio / documents
- Structured activities such as Case studies and projects
What are the entry requirements?
There are no pre-requisites to enter this training program. However, Success Real Estate Training Centre screens students according to the following criteria:
- Are 18 years of age and over under 18 years of age can complete the course, however must be 18 to receive licence
- Are living or working in Australia, and looking to work in QLD
- Have successfully completed at least Australian high school year 10, or equivalent
- Have basic computer skills
- Have sound Language, Literacy and Numeracy skills
*Learners who do not meet the LLN requirements may still enrol into the course provided the enrolment has been endorsed by the trainer and corresponding additional support strategies have been put in place.
QLD Salesperson and Property Manager Registration Course – Requirements
To apply for a real estate salesperson registration in QLD, students must complete a specific set of units as outlined by the Queensland government. These units are taken from industry-recognised training product CPP41419 Certificate IV in Real Estate Practice from the CPP Training Package .
Students who complete the course will receive a Statement of Attainment for the above 12 units of competency, which form part of CPP41419 Certificate IV in Real Estate Practice.
